What are the six steps?
- Inquiry — send trim, quantity and destination by WhatsApp or the inquiry form.
- Communication — we confirm availability, colours, options, FOB or CIF price and timing.
- Order confirmation — you approve a proforma invoice and the vehicles are reserved for you.
- Inspection — each car is checked and you receive photos or video of your actual units.
- Shipping — export clearance, loading by Ro-Ro or container, and dispatch of shipping documents.
- After-sales service — we stay available for documents, parts questions and repeat orders.
How long does it take?
In-stock vehicles can be shipped within 10 working days after payment. Specific trims, colours or option packs that we need to source take longer; we confirm the timeline before you pay a deposit. Ocean transit time depends on the route and sailing schedule and is confirmed with your booking.
FOB or CIF: which should you choose?
Both are Incoterms® rules published by the International Chamber of Commerce. Under FOB our price ends when the car is loaded on board at the Chinese port, and you book freight and insurance. Under CIF we also pay ocean freight and minimum marine insurance to your destination port. Shipping fee and delivery date are negotiated per order.
| Cost item | FOB | CIF |
|---|---|---|
| Vehicle and domestic transport to port | EVtoU | EVtoU |
| Chinese export clearance | EVtoU | EVtoU |
| Ocean freight | Buyer | EVtoU |
| Marine insurance | Buyer | EVtoU |
| Import duties, taxes and clearance | Buyer | Buyer |
| Delivery from destination port | Buyer | Buyer |
Ro-Ro or container shipping?
Ro-Ro (roll-on/roll-off) vessels carry cars driven on board, which is usually economical for larger quantities on routes with regular sailings. Containers suit smaller orders and mixed loads: cars are lashed inside 40-foot containers, often two or more per box, and are protected from weather and handling. We recommend the method per order based on quantity and destination.

Which documents will you receive?
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Bill of lading
- Certificate of origin
- Export declaration records
- Inspection photos or video of each vehicle
- Any additional documents your destination requires, agreed before shipment
Electric-vehicle export from China has its own licensing and dangerous-goods rules for lithium batteries. Our 2026 customs clearance guide explains them in detail, and each market page lists the destination-side checks.
How do you know your car is the car you paid for?
You receive photos or video at each milestone: when the car is allocated, during inspection, at loading and after shipment. VINs on the photos match the documents, so you can check every unit before it reaches your port.
Questions buyers ask
Can I use my own freight forwarder?
Yes. Choose FOB and we deliver the cars cleared for export and loaded at the Chinese port; your forwarder handles the ocean leg.
Do you arrange third-party inspection?
We inspect every car and send photos or video. If you need an inspection by a specific third party required in your market, tell us when you order so it can be planned.
Can you ship to a landlocked country?
Yes, by shipping to the nearest suitable seaport and arranging onward transport with your logistics partner. Tell us the final destination when you request a quote.
