Why does the Toyota bZ3X suit buyers in Algeria?
The bZ3X combines a Toyota badge with an electric powertrain, a liquid-cooled LFP battery and a standard heat pump. It is a 5-seat compact SUV with CLTC ranges of 430 to 610 km and a 160 km/h top speed, suited to city driving in Algiers, Oran and Constantine. Consumption of about 12.5 kWh per 100 km (manufacturer data) and DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in about 24 minutes make it practical for daily commuting and business use.
- Fully electric, so no diesel or petrol engine questions at customs.
- Left-hand drive, matching Algeria's right-hand traffic.
- 2025 and 2026 model years, all well under three years old.
- Popular mid trim: the 2026 520 Pro.
What import rules should you check before ordering?
Algeria's 2023 Finance Law (Article 66) allowed resident individuals to import vehicles under three years old, including electric ones, under conditions set by later decree. Age limits, eligibility and taxes have been revised through annual Finance Laws, and dealer imports follow a separate licensing regime.
Check the current rules with Algerian Customs (Direction Générale des Douanes) and a licensed broker before ordering. We do not quote Algerian duties, taxes or age limits.
The car uses the Chinese GB/T charging standard; our charging conversion guide explains adapter and CCS2 options. Infotainment is Chinese-market; see our infotainment and navigation guide.
How is the bZ3X shipped to Algeria?
Cars go by car-carrier truck to a Chinese port, then by Ro-Ro vessel or in 40ft containers to a Mediterranean port such as Algiers or Oran. Routing, freight and delivery date are agreed for each order, and in-stock cars ship within 10 working days after payment.
What documents come with each car?
Each car ships with the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, Chinese export clearance papers and the documents that show first registration or production date for the age check. Our customs documents checklist lists each one. We send photos or video at each milestone.

Questions buyers ask
Can a private buyer in Algeria import a bZ3X?
Algeria has allowed resident individuals to import vehicles under three years old, including electric cars, under conditions set by Finance Law and decree. Eligibility, frequency and taxes have changed over time. Confirm the current rules with Algerian Customs or a licensed broker before ordering; we supply the car and export documents.
Does the bZ3X meet the under-three-years rule?
Our bZ3X stock is 2025 or 2026 model year; the 2025 model launched in March 2025. Whether a specific car qualifies depends on how customs dates it, usually production or first registration. We provide the relevant documents with each car so your broker can check before shipment.
Which Algerian ports can you ship to?
We commonly quote CIF to Mediterranean ports such as Algiers or Oran, or FOB China if you arrange your own freight. The exact port, vessel and arrival date are confirmed for each order. Cars travel by Ro-Ro or in 40ft containers.
