Why does the Toyota bZ3X suit buyers in Azerbaijan?
The bZ3X is a Toyota-badged compact electric SUV with a liquid-cooled LFP battery, standard heat pump and CLTC range up to 610 km. For Baku dealers and taxi operators it offers a familiar brand in the growing Chinese-built EV segment, with five seats, a 2765 mm wheelbase and a 160 km/h top speed. Consumption of about 12.5 kWh per 100 km (manufacturer data) keeps energy costs low for taxi and delivery use, and DC fast charging from 30% to 80% takes about 24 minutes.
- Left-hand drive, matching Azerbaijan's right-hand traffic.
- Heat pump helps in winter; LFP battery on every trim.
- Seven 2025 trims, including the 610 Max; see the 2025 610 Max.
- MOQ of one unit for trial orders.
What import rules should you check before ordering?
Customs clearance in Azerbaijan is handled by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan exempted electric car imports from VAT for several years, but the Committee's chairman stated in late 2025 that electric vehicles become subject to VAT from 2026.
Customs duty on electric cars has been set by government decision and has changed over time. Confirm the current duty, VAT and any age conditions with your customs broker before ordering; we do not quote them.
Charging is Chinese GB/T; plan adapters or conversion using our GB/T to CCS2 guide. Navigation and voice are Chinese-market; see our infotainment guide for overseas owners.
How is the bZ3X shipped to Azerbaijan?
Azerbaijan has no ocean port, so cars travel by a combined route: by sea to a Georgian Black Sea port such as Poti or Batumi and then by road or rail to Baku, or overland through Central Asia and across the Caspian. The route, freight and delivery date are confirmed for each order.
What documents come with each car?
Each car ships with the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or transport document, Chinese export clearance papers and vehicle technical data. The complete list is in our China EV export documents guide. We confirm each milestone with photos or video.

Questions buyers ask
Are electric cars still VAT-free in Azerbaijan?
The State Customs Committee chairman said in late 2025 that electric vehicles become subject to VAT from 2026, ending the earlier exemption. Customs duty is set separately by government decision. Confirm the current duty and VAT position with your customs broker before you order, as rules have changed recently.
How do cars reach Baku from China?
Because Azerbaijan has no ocean port, routes combine sea and land, for example via Georgian Black Sea ports such as Poti or Batumi and then road or rail to Baku, or overland routes across Central Asia and the Caspian. We confirm routing, freight and timing for each order.
Can I order a single bZ3X as a trial?
Yes. Our minimum order is one unit and trial orders are welcome. You can also mix trims, for example a 520 Pro and a 610 Max, in one shipment. In-stock cars ship within 10 working days after payment; sourced trims depend on availability.
